MOT Reminders
Servicing
Most modern cars only need a service once a year, but older cars require a service every six months. The type of service you need will also be affected by how you use your car, e.g for lots of short journeys where the engine does not have a chance to warm up properly, it will probably mean more frequent oil and filter changes.
MOT's
If your vehicle is 3 years or older you are required by law to have an annual safety check, or MOT. The purpose of the MOT test is to ensure your vehicle meets the minimum acceptable environmental and road safety standards required by law.
A failure of an MOT Test Certificate means one or more items have failed to meet the minimum legal requirements for a pass. The item(s) will be listed on the MOT form. If you intend to use your car on the road the item(s) will need to be replaced/repaired urgently.
All MOT testers have been on a training course with the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) and their test results are checked regularly.
Once you have come to us for either your service or MOT, you are automatically entered into our database and we will contact you when your service or MOT is due.
